EPS Nordic Finals and Season 3 announced

It's been a couple months since the regular season ended, but ESL have finally announced the finals for their EPS Nordic division. They will take place online from August 8th-9th and feature the top four teams from the regular season. The top seed went to mTw, the defending champions, who will take on SK Gaming in the first round. The other opening match includes Fnatic, winner of the recent GameGune event, and the Swedish squad who recently departed from MYM. It will be played out in a best-of-three single-elimination format.

1st: €3,500
2nd: €1,700
3rd: €1,000
4th: €500

fnatic vs. ex-MYM - August 8th @ 1:00 PM EST
mTw vs SK-Gaming - August 8th @ 3:00 PM EST

Third place decider - August 9th @ 1:00 PM EST
Grand Final - August 9th @ 3:00 PM EST

In conjunction with this announcement, the ESL have announced that their will be a third season of EPS Nordic. The top eight teams from Season 2 have been given a direct invite into the league and the top two teams from the EAS have been given a spot as well. The last two spots will be given out following an EPS Promotion tournament to be held on August 15th.

It's worth noting that the Oslo Lions have yet to complete their last match with fnatic and should they win that match they will be directly qualified for the league, however, if they lose then H2k will be awarded the spot. Whichever team does not get the direct invite will play in the EPS Promotion tournament.
