Sgares subs for Loaded
UPDATE: I jumped the gun slightly on the news story below and the following is a correction.
According to Chris “Rx31”Heavingham, the General Manager of Loaded, Paul “Adrenaline” Baker is out of town on vacation and Sean “sgares” Gares has been brought in to replace him for the EG Master’s Cup. Loaded is currently evaluating their options for next season including the possibility of adding new players to the squad. Gares is one of these players being looked at.
Loaded has jumped into the roster change fray by adding Sean “sgares” Gares from Finesse to their roster in place of Paul “Adrenaline” Baker.
Loaded had a very strong showing at the ESEA LAN finals where they took second place after upsetting compLexity in the Lower Bracket Finals. Then at Arbalet Cup Dallas Loaded upset BURNING! in the first group stage. Things turned south however in the second group stage where despite tying H2k, Loaded lost to Underestimated which knocked them out of the competition.
Initially Loaded did not want to make any changes to their lineup, but later changed their mind according to Nazar “steno” Vynnytsky on the ESEA.net forums.
“We did not want to make one switch from the start but knew if things keep going this way it would have to occur,” said Vynnytsky. “There was just a lot of things that stopped us from being on the same page and improving at the rate we wanted to.”
The team decided to replace Paul “Adrenaline” Baker who had been with the team since the ESEA Season 4 Finals. In his place, Loaded has added Sean “sgares” Gares who played for Finesse last ESEA Season. Internal disagreements about the future of Finesse and the team’s roster for the upcoming season led to Gares being unable to continue with the squad. Gares, along with the rest of the Loaded squad, is extremely confident about the team and their future.
“It's a really good feeling knowing that you have an established organization like Loaded behind you,” said Gares. “The team is also very tight-knit, almost like a family. In practice we can point out flaws in each other’s game to better ourselves. We're already putting in practice and we all feel confident that we will soon be the top team in the US scene.”
Currently both Finesse and Loaded are negotiating the transfer of Gares’ contract to the Loaded organization. At the moment, he is listed on Loaded’s roster for the EG Master’s cup but it remains to be seen if he will be available to compete for his new team when the competition goes live.
Loaded’s roster currently is:
Sean “sgares” Gares
Nazar "steno" Vynnytsky
Shaun "hostile" Cautron
Anthony "djibouti" Manosca
Paul "pauLy" Guerboyan
Finesse is currently signed up for the EG Master’s Cup with Kyle “minikerr” Kerr. It is not known if Kerr will continue with Finesse as a permanent member or if he is filling in just for this event.
This leaves Finesse with the following roster:
Dustin "dizzaman" Dilyerd
Kory "semphis" Friesen
Chris "truls" Navratil
John "bsw" Gloggner
