MYM picks [u.s.b] as their CS team
The Russian [u.s.b] squad has joined Meet Your Makers to fill the void left by the organization’s dismissal of their Swedish Counter-Strike lineup in the beginning of July. The players on [u.s.b] have also dealt with a series of hardships. Dmitri “hooch” Bogdanov and Roman “ROMJkE” Makarov were part of the ex-Virtus Pro trio who joined with two k23 players to form UNiTED.
Despite good results inside of Russia and a sponsorship from Murat “Arbalet” Zhumashevich himself, the team failed to achieve good results internationally and were overshadowed by Na`Vi from the Ukraine. Following a second place at the Gathering and a dead last finish at Arbalet Best of Four, the team reshuffled bringing in Eduard “ed1k” Ivanov and Andrew “B1ad3” Gordenskiy. However, after exiting ESWC in the first group stage and failing to get their Visa sorted in time for Arbalet Cup Dallas, Zhumashevich yanked his support of the team.
The three Russian players from UNiTED stuck together and added Alexandr “xek” Zobkov and Andrey “XomA” Mironenko to the mix. In their brief time together, [u.s.b] placed third in the fnatic PLAY online tournament and won WCG Russia. Mironenko had the following to say on MYM’s website about joining MYM:
“We are very glad and happy to join an organisation such as MYM, we are really motivated now and will try to show our best, I want to thank the MYM organisation for giving a chance to a Russian squad. We will try not to dissapoint our fans.”
MYM’s Counter-Strike lineup is as follows:
